I just got unholy put on mine and its not showing up. That aside, great thing to equip if you know you're going to die, especially if you have an epic weapon with a high repair bill. It's the best I've ever seen. I was doing a UBRS run with some guildies and this thing was hitting for on average and criting every five hits for 10,! Man I'm bored. But I have to agree with you. Good way to save bag space :] Although someone first creating the Arclight Spanner probably won't have the mats for the GAK, they run relatively cheap on most servers under 3g , and saving that extra few bag slots gives you more room for stuff to sell, paying back very quickly.
