How many rogues to kill a paladin

People are really overstating how strong rogues are. The real 1v1 kings are shadow priests. I know i wrecked rogues in classic on my war but that was SOOO long ago it was likely the people i ran into didnt know their class well. Stun resist and overpower was brutal on them. Whats the hard counter to rogue in classic? PVP Arenas. Heal untill you get crit times, stun, one shot. I remember sap range being smaller than flare unless the rogue had points in sub, mb im wrong.

Some paladins might bubble on your cheap shot, turn around and demolish you if you don't manage to escape. Others can wait until your kidney shot and trinket it, and have bubble ready for your blind. The key to beating paladins in my own experience would be: force a bubble as soon as you can, kick heals, try to clos HoJ or repentance by predicting. Try to gain distance when they bubble and attempt to bandage, but in reality most paladins will make sure to interrupt that.

EDIT: there's not much you can do versus dk's, at least not before the patch.
